Tour itinerary Furnas
•Pick-up at 9am at your accommodation in Ponta Delgada
•1st Stop: We begin our tour with a brief stop in Vila Franca do Campo, to contemplate the famous islet better known as the "Idyllic Princess Ring", the result of the crater of an ancient submerged volcano.
•2nd Stop: We continue towards Furnas, where the cobblestone road is surrounded by century-old trees, creating a unique sensation. Here, we stopped next to Lagoa das Furnas, to admire its surrounding beauty and take unforgettable photos.
•3rd Stop: On the other side of the lake, we will have the opportunity to see up close the process of the traditional “Cozido das Furnas”, cooked slowly in the heat of the volcanic soil. A unique and authentic experience! (entrance is not included).
•4th Stop: We continue to the Fumarolas area, where you can observe active volcanic manifestations and take the opportunity to taste some local products. Be sure to try the famous yeast cakes, regional liqueurs and other typical flavors that make the Azores such a special destination. Here you can also find unique souvenirs to remember this magical place.
•Return: On the way back, take the opportunity to relax and enjoy the views as we head back to the starting point.
