Tour itinerary Sete Cidades

•Pick-up at 9am at your accommodation in Ponta Delgada

•1st Stop: Pineapple Plantation - We begin our tour with a visit to a pineapple plantation, where you can learn about the complete process of cultivating this exotic fruit, from its growth to harvest. You will also have the opportunity to try a delicious natural pineapple juice!

•2nd Stop: Serra Devassa – Boca do Inferno Viewpoint Walk - We continue towards Sete Cidades, stopping at Serra Devassa for a light 30-minute walk. The reward? A breathtaking landscape, perfect for the first photos in your memory album.

•3rd Stop: Vista do Rei Viewpoint - We go down to the famous Vista do Rei Viewpoint, where you can be photographed with the postcard scenery of Sete Cidades – one of the 7 Wonders of Portugal. The panoramic view of the green and blue lagoons is simply magical!

•4th Stop: Tour of Sete Cidades - Arriving in the parish of Sete Cidades, we will take a pleasant walking tour with photographs next to the iconic bridge, a walk along the banks of the lagoons and a stop at the charming Church of São Nicolau.
Before returning to Ponta Delgada, if there is time, we can stop at Casa de Chá O Poejo to taste some of the island's gastronomic delights.

•Pick-up at 9am at your accommodation in Ponta Delgada

•1st Stop: Visit to Cerâmica Vieira (City of Lagoa) where you can observe the traditional process of producing Azorean ceramic pieces. Take the opportunity to learn more about this centuries-old art and, if you wish, purchase a piece as a souvenir of your visit.

•2nd Stop: Climb to Lagoa do Fogo During the climb, enjoy panoramic views of both ends of the island, with stunning views over the Atlantic Ocean and the lush green valleys. Stop at the Barrosa Viewpoints: Admire and photograph the magnificent Lagoa do Fogo, known for its wild and exuberant beauty.

•3rd Stop: Caldeira Velha We go down to Caldeira Velha, a magical place surrounded by tropical vegetation. Here you can: Bathe in the hot, iron-rich thermal waters. Stroll along the surrounding trails and admire the natural beauty of this refuge. Note: Entrance to Caldeira Velha is not included and advance reservations are required to guarantee access.

•4th Stop We continue to the Salto do Cabrito Waterfall, an idyllic place hidden in the heart of nature. Here you can: Take incredible photos next to the crystal clear waterfall. If you wish, you can take a dip in the cool, invigorating waters of the waterfall.

•Return: On the way back, take the opportunity to relax and enjoy the views as we head back to the starting point.

•1st Stop: Gorreana Tea House We begin the trip with a stop at the Gorreana tea plantation, the oldest and currently only operating tea plantation in Europe. Here you can learn about the tea production process, take a short trail through the tea fields, ideal for unique photographs, taste fresh tea, explore the souvenir shop and purchase local products.

•2nd Stop. We end the tour at Ribeira dos Caldeirões, a charming natural park. Here you can: Admire and photograph the Véu de Noiva waterfall. Stroll among the old water mills and lush vegetation and even buy souvenirs.

•3rd Stop: Vila do Nordeste We continue towards Nordeste, a charming village with a welcoming historic center, ideal for a short walk. The emblematic Arnel Lighthouse, the first lighthouse in the Azores, visible from the slopes of the town.

•4th Stop: Nordeste Viewpoints We continue our tour through the stunning slopes of the Nordeste, stopping at some of the most beautiful viewpoints on the island. Highlights: Ponta do Sossego Viewpoint; Viewpoint of Ponta da Madrugada; Landscapes that combine the blue of the ocean with the green of the mountains.

•Pick-up at 9am at your accommodation in Ponta Delgada

•1st Stop: We begin our tour with a brief stop in Vila Franca do Campo, to contemplate the famous islet better known as the "Idyllic Princess Ring", the result of the crater of an ancient submerged volcano.

•2nd Stop: We continue towards Furnas, where the cobblestone road is surrounded by century-old trees, creating a unique sensation. Here, we stopped next to Lagoa das Furnas, to admire its surrounding beauty and take unforgettable photos.

•3rd Stop: On the other side of the lake, we will have the opportunity to see up close the process of the traditional “Cozido das Furnas”, cooked slowly in the heat of the volcanic soil. A unique and authentic experience! (entrance is not included).

•4th Stop: We continue to the Fumarolas area, where you can observe active volcanic manifestations and take the opportunity to taste some local products. Be sure to try the famous yeast cakes, regional liqueurs and other typical flavors that make the Azores such a special destination. Here you can also find unique souvenirs to remember this magical place.

•Return: On the way back, take the opportunity to relax and enjoy the views as we head back to the starting point.
